What can Jinba do in Linear?

Jinba Flow's Linear steps create and update issues, add comments, look up teams, list issues filtered by team, state, assignee, project, labels or update date, and read a project's progress, including scope, health and milestones.

How does Jinba connect to Linear?

With a personal API key. Generate one in Linear under Settings, Security & access, store it as a workspace secret in Jinba, and select it in each Linear step. Linear OAuth is not supported.

Can a workflow assign the issue to someone?

Yes. Creating or updating an issue accepts an assignee, along with the team, state, project, labels, subscribers, priority and estimate.

Can a person sign off before the issue is opened?

Yes. Add an approval step and the run pauses until a reviewer approves or rejects it, with a comment when the workflow requires one. The decision is made in Jinba App chat or the Flow run console.

Is there a record of what the workflow did?

Yes. Every Jinba Flow run is kept in its run history with the inputs it received and the outputs it produced, and the Linear issue carries the comments the workflow added.
