Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Carnot Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on jinba.io. For broader information about how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website operator. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and pixels (1x1 images used to record an event).

Cookie categories

Analytics and marketing cookies are enabled by default when you arrive, including session recording of your interactions on this site. All form inputs are masked in those recordings. You can switch either category off at any time using ; switching a category off stops the tools in it and deletes the cookies listed below.

Strictly necessary (always on)

These are required for the site to function. They cannot be switched off.

Managing your preferences

You can change your preferences at any time:

  • Click the button to open the preferences modal.
  • Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings.
  • To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Do Not Track

We honor browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals where they are sent. Mixpanel is configured with ignore_dnt: false and PostHog with respect_dnt: true, so visitors whose browser sends a DNT header will not be tracked or recorded by either, even though the Analytics category is on by default. Note that DNT is a deprecated web standard with inconsistent browser support — for any visitor whose browser does not send DNT, "Manage cookies" is where analytics and marketing can be switched off.

Updates

If we add new cookies or change categories we will update this page and, where required, show the notice again.
